It actually started in Fall 2020 with my Garage losing power. I bid out the work and hired Phoenix Contracting Services. The following Monday, Jeff and his crew (Mike and Gabriel) came out and finally resolved the issue See more
LOAD STUDIES · INFRARED THERMOGRAPHY · ELECTRICAL INSPECTIONS
A single scan finds problems. A recurring program shows trends, so you fix connections in order of risk and stop paying for surprises.
It is a scheduled series of scans on the same equipment, with the images saved so each scan can be compared with the last. The first scan sets a baseline. Later scans show whether a warm connection is getting worse, staying the same or was fixed.
Infrared inspection is a common part of an electrical maintenance program, and our NFPA 70E electrical safety page explains the safe work practices we follow around live equipment.
It depends on how critical the equipment is, how heavily it is loaded and what condition it is in. Many facilities scan critical gear annually and less critical equipment on a longer cycle. We recommend a schedule after we see the equipment.
Connections that were fine last year can loosen after a year of heating and cooling cycles, and Phoenix's hot days and cooler nights add plenty of them. A program catches that change. It also lets you spread repairs across a budget, fixing the worst findings first and watching the rest.
For property owners with several sites, we set up one equipment list per site, scan in a route that makes sense and deliver a combined summary alongside the site reports. The overall service is on our Infrared Thermography page.

OUR PROCESS
Every job follows three steps: a site walkthrough, testing and documentation, then findings and next steps.
We start with a free phone consultation, and you can send a photo of your panel or equipment. If on-site work is needed, we visit, look at the panels and service, and agree on what needs to be tested or repaired before any work starts. On-site work is quoted before it begins.
Load loggers and a thermal camera record what the equipment is doing, and the results are documented for each panel or component we check.
We go over what we found and your options in plain language. If corrective work is needed, we are licensed to do it.
Share the details of your project, and our team will help you identify the most practical next step.
